Receive order request & complete orders

The Gadget Shop is a department store that works with many suppliers, importers and manufacturers (foreign and domestic) in order to bring you a very wide range of products at the best possible prices. Therefore, although we take every possible measure for the availability of our products as it appears on gadget-shop.gr, there is a chance that a product shown on the Gadget Shop may not be available in the end or may not be available within the delivery time indicated on the gadget -shop.gr, for reasons beyond our sphere of influence. For this reason and in order to fully inform you and to protect you as much as possible from unforeseen incidents, orders are completed as follows:


Send an order request

You can navigate our online store, freely choose the products you like from gadget-shop.gr and place them in your shopping cart. Then, following the 'steps' indicated to you each time, you should proceed to send your order request to our company. In order to provide you with the best and most complete service and to facilitate your future purchases during your first order, you register as a user of gadget-shop.gr by filling in all your personal information requested in the corresponding registration form. Then, each time after completing your purchases, you fill in all the details of your order request that appear on the order form. All the data sent to our company fall under the strict policy of protecting your personal data that our company adheres to and are collected and processed with complete security and diligence and only after your express consent provided by sending the above form. In any case, every time you send an order request to our company, you must first have accepted these terms of use, which govern all transactions between us. You are also responsible for the correctness and legality of your above information, which our Company is only aware of upon your declaration.

By sending the request to order, you will receive an automated message that includes the details of the order request that our company will receive, which is also sent to the email address you have provided us with. All your requests are received by us subject to an availability check of the products included in your order request (which check takes place after the processing stage following your request has started).
At the stage of receiving your request and automatically viewing the content of your order request, your request has not yet been processed by our company.


Processing an order request

As long as your order request is sent from 9.00 to 15.30 on a working day and time (from Monday to Friday) then you will immediately receive a message to the email address you have given us, that your request is being processed by our company . Otherwise, you will receive this message within the next working day. During the processing of your request, the availability of all the products included in your order request is checked.

  • In the event that there is availability of all the products included in your request within the delivery time indicated in our online store, then a message will be sent to the email address and/or mobile phone number you have indicated to us that will confirm your order and will include all its details along with the shipping track number. The products will then be shipped based on the delivery schedule of our partner courier company.
  • In the event that any of the items you placed in the order are not available and/or that a product will be available after the delivery time indicated in our online store, then our Company will contact you either by message to the address e-mail and/or to the mobile phone number you have provided to us either by direct telephone contact with you through its representative (or in all the above ways) in order to consult with you about any modification, correction or cancellation of your order. If it is not possible to contact you for a period of 10 days after sending your order request, your request is automatically canceled and you will have to send a new request to us again. In any case, any new order of yours (modified or not) will be sent to you again with a new e-mail message and/or to the mobile phone number that you have indicated to us, and this message will also constitute the confirmation of your order on the basis of which you will execute your order. The products will then be shipped based on the delivery schedule of our partner courier company.
  • Our Company may contact you via e-mail and/or message on the mobile phone that you have declared to us during your registration throughout the period until the delivery of your order to you for any issue regarding the download , the processing, execution and/or transfer of your order and/or payment and/or return of products or for anything else. The parties agree that said communication (via email and/or message on the mobile phone you have registered with us - sms) also meets the legal requirements for your written information, notification, confirmation of your order, where and when the law requires it .   • NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIBE
    Your registration to our Company's newsletter service is completed by entering your email address in the corresponding field on our page or after registering or completing a purchase from our website. By completing your registration/purchase, you give us your express consent for our Company to send you informational and promotional material about its products and services, as well as relevant advertising messages.

    Gadget-Shop.gr is not responsible if the newsletters are not delivered to their destination, although it makes every effort with ISP's (Internet Service providers) for their delivery. Newsletters may end up in the spam folder, so please check regularly that they are not stored there. In the event that you wish to no longer receive informative newsletters or wish to be completely unsubscribed from the Gadget-Shop.gr newsletter system, you can inform us using the contact form on the Website or through the corresponding link that appears in our informative emails that you receive. We do not hand over information about your name, surname, home address or other personal data to third parties.


Payment methods

The Customer is charged 3 euros for shipping costs and an additional 2.5 euros for cash on delivery.

Excluded are products from the Smartphones & Tablets category, in which shipping costs 4 euros and cash on delivery costs an additional 3 euros.

This applies to products weighing up to 2 kg. For each additional kilo over 2 kilos, the customer is charged 1.50 euros.

You can pay for your order in the following ways:

Pay on delivery

For those who prefer the more traditional method, products come via "General Post" or ACS and you pay the price at the time of collection. The COD method is 2.5 euros for Gadgets and 3 euros for Smartphones & Tablets. This applies to products weighing up to 2 kg. For each additional kilo over 2 kilos, the customer is charged 1.50 euros.

Credit card

If you have a credit or debit card (regardless of the bank), you can use it safely through our online order form. Before the confirmation of your order, your credit card will be pre-authorized with a commitment of the total amount (price and any agreed costs, e.g. transportation) in order to make the corresponding commitment of the product(s) that we will send you. Gadget-Shop.gr has taken all the necessary measures for the security of your transactions through your credit card, always through the secure environment of the Piraeus Bank website.

Bank deposit

You can choose the bank that makes it easier for you to deposit the amount of your order. In the bank's depository, you must write your full name as a reason. Any bank charges from transfers or remittances should be borne by you.

Product delivery - Shipping costs

In any case, your order will be sent to you by our company or by a partner carrier of its choice during working hours and days (Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00).
Due to our partner courier company's basic delivery schedule, deliveries are as follows:
In the capitals of prefectures on the next working day from the dispatch of the products to the carrier. The Peloponnese, (except Patras), Epirus (except Ioannina and Arta) and the Islands (except Corfu) are excluded.
In other areas within 2 working days from the dispatch of the products to the carrier, excluding remote areas which can be delivered in 3-5 working days.
Our company and its partners take all the necessary measures for the valid delivery to you of the products you have ordered based on the above schedule. However, it is not responsible for any delays due to force majeure or events beyond its control. Indicatively, it is not responsible for causes of delivery delays due to delays in customs, intermediate loading-unloading areas, transport strikes or other types of strikes that affect the delivery of products to our company's warehouses from our suppliers, etc.

In the event of any delays, our company will make every effort to contact you on the details you have provided in order to inform you about this and to consult with you about the new delivery or the delivery of another product. Although we have taken every possible care to inform you in relation to the possible lack of availability of a product, there is still a possibility that there will be an unexpected lack or unavailability of the product from our suppliers (even after the confirmation of your order). In this case, our company will again make every effort to contact you based on the communication methods mentioned above in order to inform you about this and to agree with you about the new delivery or the delivery of another product or the cancellation of the order free of charge for both parties and the interest-free return of any monies that may have been paid within a reasonable period of time. Subject to any special charges that will be expressly provided for in a product posted on our website and in any case in your order confirmation.


Product returns

Withdrawal

Orders with Receipt:

If for any reason you wish to return any of the products you purchased, you can do so by replacing it with another of equal or greater value, as well as a refund by following the instructions below: According to the Consumer Protection Law (Law 2251/1994 ) you have the right to return the product within fourteen (14) days from the date of receipt and must be accompanied by the proof of sale. In any case, the shipment should be made by courier and not by post. Return costs are borne by the customer. In the event that the transport charges that will be requested of you exceed our own charge, you can use our own code so that you are charged the lowest possible amount. In this case, you must contact the store's customer service department at 218 218 1418 to arrange it immediately. Returns are only accepted when the product is in the same condition in which you received it, i.e. unsealed or tampered with and accompanied by the retail receipt. We reserve the right before returning a product to ask the customer to take a photo of it and send it to us by email so that it exists as a document before it is sent. For this reason, it is advisable to check the condition of the products and the intactness of their packaging upon delivery of the order, in order to identify any obvious defects (e.g. broken goods, incorrect contents, etc.).

Your refund will be made within 14 days of the date we receive the product and only if it is in original condition in accordance with the conditions we note above. The refund is made using the same method as the purchase (from card to card, from bank and cash on delivery to bank)

Our company states that the sender is solely responsible for the packaging of shipments.

Returns where the original packaging of the product is damaged due to the customer's negligence (e.g. insulating tape on the product or on the packaging - without additional coverage, etc.) will not be accepted and the customer will have to bear the shipping costs in order to take it back.

Orders with Invoice:

Orders for which an invoice has been issued cannot be returned due to cancellation.
Every purchase with an invoice is a contract between two parties for the acquisition of products intended for professional and not personal use. Since the seller has shipped the correct product, which has no manufacturing defect, the contract does not give the buyer a right of withdrawal. The above results from the 1st paragraph 1 of Law 2251/1994 on consumer protection.

 

Order cancellation

It is possible to cancel your order in the following cases:
α) Before sending/receiving the product – Cancellation is possible by sending an e-mail to [email protected] or by calling 218 218 1418 
β) After receiving the product – You can exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days.

Mobile phones - Tablets - Laptops - H/Y

If you have purchased a device which due to a manufacturing fault could not be put into operation from the beginning, it is automatically marked as DOA i.e. "Dead On Arrival", which means that the device never turned on. If you bought a device that was put into operation but then in the next few days showed symptoms of a serious malfunction, then the device is automatically classified as DAP i.e. "Dead After Purchase" which means that the device stopped working or had serious problems (or actual defects) within a reasonable interval defined (or suggested) by the manufacturer. Mobile DOA 7 days (date of issue of the Receipt – Purchase Invoice). The product must be sent by the customer within 7 days from the date of receipt, with its complete packaging and the original proof of purchase. The malfunctioning of the product must be due to a defect of the manufacturer and not to damage caused by misuse of the product, such as a fall, operation outside the manufacturer's specifications, intervention in the interior or its operation by unauthorized technicians, etc.
The procedures to be followed are: Send the product to our store and we in turn send it to the corresponding authorized service for technical inspection and official report of the damage (the process may take 10 - 50 working days). As long as it is established by the official service that the damage is due to a manufacturing problem and not to the fault of the user, we proceed to replace the product.
Device replacement is not done in case of reinstallation of operating system, battery replacement or repair under warranty. In the event that the conclusion of the technical inspection indicates a mechanical device problem which is within the warranty and cannot be repaired, then our store proceeds, after consultation with the customer, to replace the product with another or refund the money.

Defective products and Warranty

If you find that the product you received has a defect or a missing part, you can inform us either by phone at 218 218 1418 or by email at [email protected] in order to solve the problem. You should fill out the RMA form found here, https://www.gadget-shop.gr/rma/request .

The procedures to be followed are:

Send the product to our store with suitable packaging to protect the product and the necessary copy of the purchase receipt or invoice, with a courier company cooperating with us only.

The product is sent by us to the corresponding authorized service or to the manufacturing company/supplier for a technical check and official report of the damage, since the Gadget Shop does not have a technical department that can itself certify the failure of the device. The duration of a technical check depends exclusively on the respective technical department, (10-50 working days) our store bears no responsibility for any delay or obstruction. The transport costs from abroad are borne by the customer.

If it is established by the official service that the damage is due to a manufacturing problem and not to the fault of the user and it is not repaired, we proceed to replace the product at our own expense or refund your money within 14 days.

Returns of products from abroad are the responsibility of the buyer.

Cases of invalid warranty:

  • If the product has not been purchased from the Gadget Shop or the unique serial number of the product does not match that of the legal document that has been issued.
  • If the product warranty has expired
  • If the respective technical department decides that the fault of the product is the fault of the consumer or is not considered defective. In these cases, the costs of transportation to and from the customer are borne by the customer.
  • If the device is not accompanied by its box but also its accessories.
  • The Gadget Shop has towards you all the obligations provided for in the Civil Code for the seller.

Gadget Shop recognizes the importance of the security of Personal Data, as well as electronic transactions, and has taken all the necessary measures, with the most modern and advanced methods, to ensure maximum security.
